You meet this word in films, ghost stories, and talk about “special powers,” not in science class or ordinary life. Though actually, most scientists say this power has never been shown to be real; believers still use the idea, often next to the plainer words psychokinesis or telekinesis. Even fans of the stories more often say “with her mind.” This adverb is long, rare, and a little dramatic. Do not mix it with psychologically, which is about feelings and thoughts inside a person, not about furniture that supposedly flies.
