A pedicurist is a person whose job is to look after your feet and toenails. They cut the nails, tidy the skin around them, sometimes paint them, and may rub tired feet so they feel better. The treatment itself is a pedicure; the pedicurist is the one who does it. You meet them in a nail shop or a beauty salon. It is an ordinary work word — polite, everyday, not fancy. People also say nail technician when the same person does fingers and toes. Though actually, in casual talk many customers just book “a pedicure” and never use pedicurist at all; you will hear the job title more in the shop or in writing.
