Pedagogy is the work of teaching, and also the study of how teaching should be done.

If you talk about “her pedagogy”, you mean the way she teaches — her methods, her ideas about learning. If you talk about pedagogy as a subject, you mean the field that asks: how do people learn, and how should we teach them? It is a university word, not a playground word.

Though actually, different teachers mean slightly different things by it: some mean only “methods in the classroom”; some mean the whole theory of education, including what schools are for. Both uses are real.
