Nostalgically tells you how someone does a thing when that warm, wishing-it-had-stayed feeling is in the way they speak, look, or remember. You talk nostalgically, smile nostalgically, look back nostalgically. The feeling is the same as nostalgic; the -ly form just rides on an action instead of naming the person or the thing. It sounds a little careful. In very easy talk people often say 'in a nostalgic way', or they skip the adverb and keep the adjective.
