    Norfolk is a county in the east of England. Much of it is flat , with marsh in places, and a famous stretch of shallow lakes and called the , where people spend holidays in small boats. Though actually, you will also meet Norfolk on maps far from those fields: Norfolk, Virginia is a big US navy city, and Norfolk Island sits in the Pacific; those places were named after a Duke of Norfolk, not because they look like the English county. In food talk, a Norfolk turkey is a farm turkey tied to that county.
