Naturopathic is the adjective for naturopathy: it describes treatment, ideas, or people that belong to that system of trying to cure illness with natural things such as plants, food, and daily habits, rather than with ordinary hospital drugs. You will see phrases like naturopathic medicine, a naturopathic clinic, or a naturopathic doctor (in places that allow that title). It does not name a person by itself — for the person, we say naturopath. The word is used in health writing and in ads; it sounds specialist and a little official. As with the whole family of words, some people trust this kind of care and some people do not, so the adjective can carry a quiet argument inside it: calling something naturopathic tells you the school of thought, not that every doctor agrees it works.
