    Monarchic is the adjective that belongs with a king or queen. We use it for things that have to do with a monarch, or with a country led in that way: a monarchic system, monarchic power, monarchic tradition. It names the style or the system; it is not itself the king or queen. It is a formal, word. In everyday English people more often say royal, or they talk about the monarchy. You will mostly meet it in news, history, and , not in chat. Though actually, writers sometimes use monarchic and monarchical as if they were the same; both point at the same idea.
