1. 1

Manoeuvrability is how easy it is to move or turn something, especially a vehicle. A small car that can slip into a tight space has good manoeuvrability. A light plane has more of it than a heavy ; a little boat in a harbour needs it. The word is a bit formal and technical. In ordinary talk, many people just say “it’s easy to turn.” It is about changing direction, not about going fast: a fast car can still be in a car park. People sometimes stretch it to groups and plans — a small team’s manoeuvrability — meaning they can change course quickly, but the home of the word is still machines you steer. The spelling is British, with oe in the middle. American English maneuverability. Same word, same meaning. In Taiwan you will meet both; American spelling is common in games, tech, and science, British spelling in some textbooks.
