Maliciousness is the quality of being malicious: that , cruel wish to upset or hurt someone on purpose. It is a noun. You can speak of the maliciousness of a or of someone’s maliciousness. Though actually, the shorter, older noun malice is the one most people say. Maliciousness is real English, and it is a little heavier and more formal — you meet it in careful writing more than in chat. Both point at the same ugly intention; malice is the everyday name for it, maliciousness names it as a trait or a quality.
