Listlessly is how you do something when you feel listless: slowly, with no spark, as if you do not really want to. You might eat listlessly, stare listlessly out of the window, or answer listlessly. It does not mean you are trying to be rude; the energy and interest are simply not there. Same feeling as listless — this form talks about the action, not the mood itself.
