Your interlocutor is the person you are speaking to — the other side of the conversation. Teachers, lawyers, and writers like this word when they want a neat, formal name for “the person I am talking with,” especially in interviews, debates, or careful academic writing. You would not use it about a chat in a shop with a friend; you would just say the other person, or the person I was talking to. Though actually, it can also mean someone who speaks for a group in talks with another group — an official talking partner. The everyday words are much simpler; this one belongs to serious, written English.
組成Borrowed from Medieval Latin interlocutor: the “person who” (-tor) of interloquor, “to speak between,” from inter- (between) + loquor (speak).
