    If something changes insignificantly, the change is so small it is not worth worrying about. 'The price rose insignificantly' means it went up, but not in a way that matters. You will see this more in careful writing than in chat. In speech, people usually say hardly or not really. It is the opposite of significantly, which means 'in an important way' — so getting the prefix wrong flips the whole meaning.
