Impertinently tells you how someone spoke or acted: in a rude way that does not show respect, especially to someone older or more important. The boy answers impertinently; she smiles impertinently; he impertinently tells the manager what to do. The adverb keeps the same slightly formal, slightly old flavour as impertinent. Friends almost never say it about each other. You will hear it when a writer, a teacher, or an angry adult wants the exact shade of “you forgot your place.”

組成impertinent + -ly (in that way). From the adjective impertinent plus the ordinary English adverb ending -ly.
