A decision, action, or remark that is ill-considered has not been thought about carefully. Someone spoke or acted too fast, and later it looks . It is close to ill-conceived, though actually they are not quite the same: ill-conceived often attacks the plan as a whole, from the first idea; ill-considered often attacks the moment of choosing — they did not stop to think. You can have an ill-considered comment in a meeting, or an ill-considered move in a game. It is a little formal. Ill- again means badly, not sick.
Ill-considered 用來形容決定、行為或發言，沒有經過仔細考慮，當下說或做得太快，事後看起來不夠明智。它跟 ill-conceived 很接近，但重點不同：ill-conceived 指整個計畫從一開始就有問題，ill-considered 則指做選擇的那一刻沒有停下來想清楚。句型是 「ill-considered ＿＿」，例如會議裡的 「ill-considered comment」（欠考慮的發言），或遊戲裡的 「ill-considered move」（考慮不周的一步）。這個詞有點正式。前面的 ill- 表示「不好地」，不是「生病」的意思。
