    If you are footsore, your feet hurt because you have walked a long way. It is tired — soles, heels, the whole tired foot — not a cut, a sprain, or an illness. You hear it after a hike, a day of temples and MRT transfers, or a long walk home: a slightly , story-like word, more than the plain “my feet hurt.” People also say my feet are killing me or my feet ; footsore paints the same picture in one adjective. It describes how you feel right then, not a condition you “have” for weeks.
