An ex-servicewoman is a woman who used to be in the army, the navy, or the air force, and does not serve now. Like ex-serviceman, it is especially British and a little formal. Though actually, in American English veteran is the everyday word for both women and men. Service here again means military service, not a job in a shop or a garage.
