Someone who is paid to work for a person, company, or organization.
「employee」指「領薪水、替別人或公司工作的人」，也就是員工、受雇者。它跟 employer（雇主）正好相反——employer 是出錢請人的一方，employee 是被請、拿薪水的一方。字尾 -ee 常表示「被…的人」，可以想成「被雇用的人」。
