This is the noun for having lost your calm: you feel — or others can see — that you are worried, flustered, and no longer composed. A moment of discomposure might be a shake in the voice, a lost sentence, or a face that is no longer smooth. It is formal and a little literary. In ordinary English you would say she was flustered or he lost his . It names the inner wobble, not the act of causing it (that act is discompose). Though actually, it is a near twin of losing your ; the extra dis- just spells out that the calm has been undone.
