1. 1

Diagrammatic means shown as a simple drawing or plan: boxes, arrows, dots, and lines that tell you where something is, what it looks like, or how it works, without the extra mess of real life. A diagrammatic map of the MRT marks stations as dots; it does not draw every street. The word is a little school-and-textbook in feel. In everyday talk a teacher might just say “like a diagram.” It describes the style of the picture, not the picture itself.
