Deprecation is the noun: the act of speaking against something, or the feeling that it should not happen. In careful English it is strong dislike put into words — cooler than a shout, but still a no. In tech, a deprecation notice is the official warning that a tool is old and will be removed. Same spelling trap as the verb: this is not depreciation, which is about price and value falling. Though actually, the two words sit so close on the page that even good writers slip; if money or a car’s worth is in the sentence, you almost certainly want depreciation.
