In companies, especially in software and project work, a deliverable is a concrete thing you have promised to have ready for a customer or for the next team: a report, a finished feature, a file, a design, a piece of the system. People often say it in the plural: What are the deliverables for this month? It is workplace English, a bit dry and managerial. You would not call a birthday present a deliverable. As an adjective it can simply mean able to be delivered, but in offices the noun is the meaning you will actually meet.
