Condemnation is the act, or the words, of saying that someone or something is very wrong — not a small complaint, but strong moral . A government, a newspaper, a school, or a crowd can offer a condemnation: they name what happened and they reject it. People condemn cruelty, cheating, a harsh law, a violent attack.
