Concluding describes the last part of something: the last remarks in a speech, the last chapter of a book, the last item at a meeting. “Concluding remarks” are the words someone says at the end, to round things off. It comes from the verb conclude, “to bring to an end.” You can also meet it as the -ing form of that verb: she is concluding her speech. Though actually, concluding does not mean the idea is proven; it only means it comes last. If you want “this settles the question,” that is , a different word, and the two are easy to mix.
