Compliant describes someone who is willing to do what is asked of them and follows rules without resisting — a compliant patient follows the doctor's instructions. It's also a common technical word: a product, building, or system that meets required rules or standards is 'compliant' (a 'GDPR-compliant' website, a 'code-compliant' building).
