Charmingly means in a charming way: pleasing, attractive, often small and warm rather than grand. A village can sit charmingly on a hill; a child can smile charmingly; a note can be charmingly honest. It is softer than “beautifully” and warmer than “.” You put it with a verb (smiled charmingly) or with an adjective (charmingly old). It tells you the manner, not the person.
