Bestially is the adverb from bestial: to act bestially is to act in that cruel, animal-like way. It is rare and formal. You will almost never need it in a school essay; writers use it when they want the shock of the adjective, but on a verb. Same history, same warning: it is bestial plus -ly, not a cousin of “best.”
