Picture something within reach, free for the taking — there, ready, and nothing in the way of your getting or using it right now. 'Available' is that open-and-ready state, whether it's a thing on the shelf, a person with free time, or a heart free to be claimed.

可以想成「就在手邊、現在就拿得到」的狀態：東西在那裡、準備好了，中間沒有任何阻擋。available 講的就是這種「空著、開放、隨時可取」的感覺——不管那是架上的一件貨、一個有空的人，還是一顆還沒被佔住的心。
