If something is alluring, it has that mysterious, , or desirable pull. An alluring smile, an alluring offer, an alluring night market: each one makes you want to come closer. This is the everyday member of the family; people use the adjective far more than they use as a noun. It is , but not always innocent — alluring can hint that the pull is a little dangerous, or that you might regret giving in. It is also the -ing form of the verb .
