Wrongdoing is behaviour that is illegal, dishonest, or morally bad — the doing of wrong, treated as one thing you can talk about.
It is usually uncountable: 'evidence of wrongdoing', 'he denied any wrongdoing'. You can also say 'wrongdoings' for separate bad acts, but that is less common and sounds a bit older or more literary.
The word lives mostly in serious writing: news reports, court cases, company investigations, government inquiries. Its most famous home is the fixed phrase 'deny any wrongdoing' — when a politician or a company is accused of something, the newspaper almost always 'X denies any wrongdoing'. Learn that phrase as a block; you will meet it again and again.
One useful thing about it: 'wrongdoing' is deliberately wide. It covers crime, but also cheating, lying, taking money you should not take, and breaking rules that are not exactly laws. Reporters like it because they can say 'no wrongdoing was found' without promising anything about which law was or was not broken. So it feels careful and a little cold — the word of someone being formal on purpose. In normal conversation people simply say 'doing something wrong' or 'doing bad things'.
