Sunglasses with lenses that curve round the sides of your face, so they reach almost from one ear to the other instead of stopping at the corners of your eyes. The full name is wraparound sunglasses or wraparound shades; wraparounds on its own is the short, casual form, and it is nearly always plural, like sunglasses and glasses themselves.
