The strap that holds a watch on your wrist — the same object as an American 'watchband'. 'Watchstrap' is the British word, and it is the one you will see in British shops and repair counters. You will find it written three ways — 'watchstrap', 'watch-strap', and 'watch strap' — and all three are accepted; the two-word form is probably the most common in ordinary writing. A small point of feel: because 'strap' suggests something soft that buckles, some people use 'watchstrap' for the leather or rubber kind and reach for 'bracelet' for the metal link kind, especially in watch shops and among collectors. That is a preference among enthusiasts, not a rule — ordinary speakers happily say 'a metal watchstrap'. Straps come in standard widths measured in millimetres (18mm, 20mm, 22mm), so when you buy a new one you need to know the number, and shops will ask you for it.
