1. 1

Victoriously is the adverb from victorious: doing something in the manner of someone who has just won. It tells you how an action was done — with the look, sound, or feeling of a winner. He grinned victoriously. She raised both arms victoriously. They marched victoriously through the city gates. Notice what that really means in practice. Most of the time victoriously does not describe the winning itself; it describes the showing-off afterwards — the smile, the shout, the raised fists, the walk. So it very often sits next to verbs of gesture and expression: smile, grin, shout, wave, hold up, march, return. If you want to say the actual result, English prefers the adjective: 'they were victorious', not 'they finished victoriously'. Like victorious, it is a raised, literary word, more common in written stories and sports reports than in speech, and it is often used lightly or for small triumphs — a child holding up a found toy victoriously. There is a small warm irony available in it that students enjoy once they hear it.

    勝利地、得意地(副詞;多半形容贏了以後的神情動作——揚起雙手、得意地笑——而不是贏這件事本身)
