'Vaginal' is the adjective from 'vagina' — it simply means 'having to do with the vagina'. You almost never hear it standing alone; it lives in front of another noun, and nearly always in health talk: a vaginal infection, vaginal bleeding, a vaginal examination, vaginal delivery (meaning a baby born the normal way, not by an operation). say it too, because some medicines are made to be used this way instead of swallowed.
The feeling of the word is clinical and neutral — it belongs to doctors, medicine boxes and health websites. That neutrality is useful: if you need to describe a symptom to a doctor in English, 'vaginal' is the calm, correct word to reach for, and using it will not anyone. Stress the first part: VA-ji-nal.
組成vagina + -al. The ending -al is the ordinary English way of turning a noun into an adjective: 'nation' → 'national', 'person' → 'personal', 'nature' → 'natural'. It came in through Latin -ālis.
