'Urbanity' is the noun: the quality of being urbane. It names the whole thing — the calm, the ease, the light good manners, the polish someone shows in company. You meet it most often after words like 'his', 'her', 'their', 'a certain', or 'with': 'his famous urbanity', 'she answered with great urbanity', 'a man of considerable urbanity'. It is uncountable in this meaning, so no 'an urbanity' and no 'urbanities' — with one exception worth knowing: in older writing, 'urbanities' in the plural can mean polite little remarks, the pleasant nothings people exchange before real talk begins. Like the rest of this family, the word is formal and literary; in ordinary speech people say 'charm', 'good manners', 'social ease', or just 'he's smooth'. And, again like 'urbane', it can be quietly two-edged — praise on the surface, with a hint underneath that the polish is a shell.

組成Comes through Middle English urbanitie and French urbanité from Latin urbānitās, from urbānus 'belonging to a city', from urbs 'city'. Equivalent to urbane + -ity, the ending that turns an adjective into the name of a quality (real → reality, able → ability).
