Unobstructed means the way through is clear — nothing is sitting in the path to stop something moving or to block your line of sight. The two places you will meet it most are views and passages. An unobstructed view is the phrase estate agents and hotels love: no building, no tree, no pillar between you and the sea. An unobstructed road, corridor, or exit means you can pass along it freely, and this is standard safety language — fire exits must be kept unobstructed. It also has a medical use, for tubes inside the body that need to stay open, like an airway. The word is formal and mostly written; speaking, people say 'clear' or 'nothing in the way'. Note that it almost always describes a physical path or view — it is not the word for a plan or a process going smoothly.
組成un- (not) + obstructed. Obstruct is Latin ob- (in the way of) + struere (to build, to pile up) — literally something built or piled up in front of you.
