UNO written in capitals is a short way of writing the United Nations Organization — the full, formal name of the group most people simply call the UN. You will meet it in older textbooks, in exam papers, and in Indian and some European English, where UNO is still normal. In American and British news today it is nearly always just 'the UN', so if you write UNO in an essay it will not be wrong, but it will sound a little old-fashioned or textbookish. Say the letters one by one: U-N-O. Do not confuse it with the card game spelled the same way — that one is a Spanish word meaning 'one', said 'OO-noh', and it is completely unrelated even though the letters match. Which one is meant is always obvious from what is around it.
組成An initialism: the first letter of each word in United Nations Organization. The card game is a different word entirely — a borrowing of Spanish and Italian uno, 'one', which players shout when they have one card left; it is a doublet of English one.
