A tremor is a small shaking movement that you cannot fully control. Your hand can have a tremor when you are nervous, cold, or sick. The ground can have a tremor too — a small earthquake is often called a tremor. It can also mean a shaking feeling of fear or excitement inside you, like 'a tremor of doubt.'
