  1. 1四分之三的、七分的。台灣講衣服時幾乎不說「四分之三」，而是說「七分袖」「七分褲」——長度概念一樣，只是台灣用「七分」而不是「四分之三」，直接照字面翻反而沒人聽得懂。

    One small trap in the grammar: as an adjective before a noun, English keeps 'quarter' singular — three-quarter sleeves, not 'three-quarters sleeves'. When you are naming an amount on its own, the -s comes back: 'three-quarters of the class'.
