The short written form of "tablespoon" — the big spoon you eat soup or serve food with, used as a measure in cooking. You see it in recipes, on the side of a measuring , on the back of a food packet. You almost never say "tbsp" out loud; you read it and you say "tablespoon". It stays the same for one or for many: "1 tbsp sugar", "2 tbsp oil" — no -s, though some writers do add one and write "tbsps". Some recipes write it with a capital T ("1 T oil") to keep it clearly apart from a small t for teaspoon. As a real measure it is three teaspoons, about 15 ml, though the old British tablespoon was a bit bigger and the Australian one is 20 ml — so a big recipe from another country can come out slightly off. Note also that in real cooking people are loose about it: "a tablespoon of butter" often just means a good , not a careful measurement.
組成A shortening of tablespoon (table + spoon). Recipes often capitalise it as Tbsp while leaving tsp in lower case, to make clear that the bigger tablespoon, not the smaller teaspoon, is meant.
