- 1n/ˈtɑːrəs/ · /ˈtɔːrəs/zodiac sign
The second sign of the zodiac, drawn as a bull. It covers people born between April 21 and May 21, and some people believe it shapes what those people are like and what happens in their lives.
講星座本身的時候，Taurus 前面通常不加 a，例如 My sign is Taurus。

Taurus is one of the twelve signs used in astrology. It is the second one, and its picture is a bull. It covers roughly April 21 to May 21. Some people believe a person born in those weeks shares certain habits and moods. When you talk about the sign itself, you normally use Taurus with no a, as in 'My sign is Taurus.' When you talk about a person, you say 'a Taurus', and that is the other use of this word.

A person who was born between April 21 and May 21, and so belongs to the sign Taurus.
Here Taurus names a person, not the sign. You use it about anyone born between April 21 and May 21. It is countable, so it takes a and becomes Tauruses in the plural. You meet it most often in friendly talk about birthdays and about what someone is like.
