Stimulation is what happens when something wakes up your body, mind, or senses and makes them more active or interested. A baby needs stimulation — things to look at, sounds to hear, and toys to touch — to help its brain grow. Coffee gives you stimulation by waking up your body. A good conversation can give you mental stimulation, meaning it makes your brain feel active and interested.
