Spoilt is the British English past tense and past participle of "spoil" (American English usually uses "spoiled" instead). It's used both for things that have gone bad or been ruined — like food that has spoilt in the heat, or a picnic spoilt by rain — and for describing a child who behaves badly because they always get what they want and are rarely told no, as in "a spoilt child."
