Someway means 'somehow' — in some way that you cannot name, or do not know. You use it when the result is clear but the method is not: it happened, and you can't say how. Here is the honest part your dictionary may not tell you: almost nobody writes someway today. It is rare, it feels old or regional (you hear it in some American dialects, sometimes as someways, with an s), and in normal writing somehow is the word people use. Teachers and exam markers may even mark someway as a mistake. So learn it to recognise it — in an old book, a song, a character's speech — and use somehow yourself. There is also a completely different thing that looks the same: two separate words, some way, meaning 'a distance' ('we walked some way down the road') or 'a method' ('there must be some way to fix this'). That two-word use is very common and perfectly normal.
