    Sleety is the adjective for that half-frozen rain: weather that is full of , or rain that has ice in it. A sleety morning is cold, wet, and sharp on the face at the same time. Though actually, in speech many people skip the adjective and just say “It’s ” or “There’s .” Sleety is a little more written, or weather-report, than the noun.
