1. 1

Siberian means of Siberia or from Siberia — that huge part of Russia between the Ural Mountains and the Pacific, rich in minerals, peopled, and famous for terrible cold. A Siberian is a person from there. You will also hear it in animal names: a Siberian tiger, a Siberian husky. The place is also where Russian and Soviet governments sent criminals and people who disagreed with them, so Siberian can be a quiet geography word, or it can carry that far, frozen feeling. It is not the same as Serbian.
