Shamelessness is the name for that quality: not ashamed of bad behaviour, even when other people think you should be. It is a noun. You talk about someone’s shamelessness, or the shamelessness of a lie or an . In serious talk it is a blaming word — you are saying the person, or the act, shows no decent embarrassment. Though actually, writers sometimes use it with a mix of shock and unwilling admiration, when a person is so bold that you cannot look away. It is the same idea as , only packed as a thing you can point to. You will meet it more in newspapers and essays than in chat; in speech people often just say “That was .”
