1. 1

Seychellois is not the name of the country. The country is the Seychelles — those Indian Ocean islands east of Kenya, known for beaches, unusual plants and animals, and tourists with money; capital Victoria; a small population. Seychellois is the word for the people who are from there, and the adjective for things that belong there: a Seychellois family, Seychellois food, a Seychellois passport. You can say a Seychellois (one person) or the Seychellois (the people as a group). It comes from French, so the ending -ois feels French, like Quebecois. There is also Seselwa, a Creole name for the people and their language — same idea, different language. Use Seychellois in English class unless you are talking about the Creole itself.

組成Borrowed from French seychellois. It is a doublet of Seselwa (the Creole word from the same French source). Built from the place name (the Seychelles) plus a French ending that means “from that place.”
