Sea-green is a colour: green with a clear mix of blue in it, like shallow on a bright day — not grass-green, and not deep navy. People use it for paint, silk, glass, tiles, and sometimes eyes. It is a calm, slightly old-fashioned colour word; clothes shops and paint charts still like it. You can write it with a (sea-green) or as two words; the is common when it sits in front of a noun, as in a sea-green dress. It names the colour of the sea in that blue-green band, not the sea itself.
「sea-green」是一種顏色，綠色裡帶著明顯的藍，像晴天淺海的水色，既不是草綠，也不是深藍。它可用在油漆、絲綢、玻璃、瓷磚上，有時也拿來形容眼睛。這是平靜、有點老式的顏色詞，服飾店和色卡上仍常見。
