A right-thinking person, in the speaker's eyes, has sensible, decent opinions. The set phrase all right-thinking people is a favourite of speeches and editorials, as if every good person must already agree. Though actually, that is a trick of tone: the speaker has dressed their own view in the word right. It is very close to right-minded, and a little . You will see it in writing more than you will hear it from teenagers. Kind on the surface; a bit underneath.
right-thinking 指說話的人眼中，觀點合理、立場端正的人。常見的固定說法是「all right-thinking people」，多出現在演講和社論裡，意思接近「有見識的人」。
這個說法其實是語氣上的技巧。說話的人把自己的看法包裝在 right 這個字裡，讓人覺得好人本來就該同意他。它的意思很接近 right-minded，只是帶點說教的味道。
整體來說，這個字表面客氣，底下卻有點強勢。多在書面文字裡見到，口語中比較少聽到。
