Right-of-centre is a word. Picture a line with left, centre, and right. If you are right-of-centre, you sit a little to the right of the middle, not at the far end. That often means you like private business and are careful about big government, but you are not as hard as the far right. Parties like the phrase because it sounds moderate. Though actually, the middle moves: a right-of-centre idea in one country, or in one decade, can look leftish in another. British spelling uses centre; American spelling uses center. News language, a bit formal for the dinner table. Here right is a side, not correct.
